We are currently working with Digital Ceramics to provide artwork for Newcastle Borough council as part of a project to rejuvenate the town centre. We have already completed five underpasses in the Grosvenor Gardens where the theme was “Britain in Bloom”.
It was a pleasure to create designs overflowing with colourful flowers and incorporating features of the town as well as references to local sculpture projects and children’s artwork. Some of the designs are hand drawn and coloured whilst others are digitally produced. Once completed, the designs are transferred on to high-quality custom-made tiles by Digital Ceramics, who use cutting edge techniques to ensure colour reproduction and detail.
